Season of Change: November Homeschool Program for 9-12 year-olds

Season of Change The nights are getting colder, the leaves are changing color, the wind is beginning to bite! Finding and hiding food, building a home, and getting ready for winter is hard work for wildlife! We’ll explore plant and animal adaptations for winter. We integrate the outdoor classroom with rigorous academic concepts, conservation-based themes, and connection with nature. Audubon Vermont's series of monthly homeschool programs focuses on key science concepts: math, biology, environmental sciences, outdoor skills, and communication/team skills. Each program is designed to give you a platform from which to build other units/lessons in your homeschooling. Audubon's programs will enrich, reinforce, and diversify what you’re working on at home. We offer monthly homeschool sessions for both 6-8 year-olds and 9-12 year-olds.
